Here two pictures of my DIY hip pads. I made this in order to test how they would affect my balance and stroke. I used an old shower mat, duct tape and two sided outdoor tape to hold them in place. They are a temporary solution. This will probably fall off after an open water remount, but they work. The pads keep you in the center of the ski and help to stabilize the boat. I found that my stroke improved because I was not longer squirming around in the big cockpit. I also lengthened the foot pedals to 13 notches from the front. This all combined to improve my overall comfort and speed in the ski.

HI,
Had a similar solution for my ski as well. Shower anti slip mat! Not as durable but its a quick fix. Why dont you contact epic and get those pouches that can be fitted with foam. Its the latest development for Epic V10 Sport models coming out of China. Your seat is just bigger since its made for heavier paddlers.
What's your height and what paddle do you use? Im 5'9 and will start using a braca 4 paddle with a total length of 211cm. That seems to be perfect! I might extend to 213 for longer paddles.
