Ski Boats Galore and 16 MPH

I went out to the lake this evening. My goal was to take an easy paddle and work on technique. I knew there would be boats, but it was ridiculous. At least 8 boats in a small area throwing off waves all over. I concentrated on the biggest waves and turned the sport into them but there were just too many. So I fell..............At least three times then I said the heck with this and went back to shore. To much to fast I guess. But on the way back I finally got a set of waves behind me and was able to surf them. When I got to shore my Etrex showed 16 mph! Wow was I surprised.
