Hi,

I recently did a 10km time trial myself. I did laps from the start point to the bridge which is 1.6 km or 1 mile. At 10km, it was 1:04.37 The place where I paddle in has heavy but very flat water conditions. Heavy to pull since the water is a bit shallow. I paddle an old slsa spec ski from Australia, a 94 Burton Ultimate wedge. Paddle I use is a brasca IV min with 212 cm

I got inspired by your blog ever since I got to see your posts in surfski.info Im still trying to get to paddle as fast with swells and waves. However, those two slow you down if you have the wrong angle. It also doesn't help that I have a 40 plus pound glass ski with a water leak. : (
