First Day on the V10 Sport

:( and was it frustrating. I felt like an expert on my OC sprinter paddling away for two hours at a time looking for any boat wakes to ride......

Then I hope aboard the ski and...................fall off! I get back on and ............fall off!

Two things become clear...1) this is going to a bear
2) I need to learn how to mount this thing and quick

After the 4th fall I start to get some composure...not balance but some composure so that I can paddle and actually rotate. Too bad I cannot attempt to put down the power. This thing feels fast it glides so well. What a frustrating experience...am I in over my head? After an hour of shaky paddling and I call it a night.

My game plan for tomorrow is practice remounting and getting some more seat time.

Here is a great link for remounting a surfski

Hi Marco - congrats on getting your new boat. I'm in the same 'boat' you are - i got my first ski a week ago today (fenn mako 6) - it's been a blast. i feel pretty comfortable in it but have a lot of work to do with getting the wing stroke consistant. my email is teletwang@yahoo.com if you ever want to compare notes. take care - jeff
