Rotation?

Well another quick paddle tonight. I watched The Kayak Forward Stroke and wanted to just practice rotation. My goal for the night was to rotate as much as possible and engage my legs. I concentrated totally on my leading hand during the recovery phase of the stroke. Just before I initiated the catch I made sure that my fist passed over the Epic symbol. On a V10 this marks the center of the ski. This naturally leads to the use of the legs to drive the next stroke. The next thing I tried to concentrate on was to keep my elbow, wrist, and hand in the same line during the recovery. All of this seemed to work and gives me a base from which to start.

It is clear after watching Oscar's surf ski sequence that I need to bring my leading hand farther across my body. Tomorrow I will try again
