
I did not fall but just felt slow, almost like I was dragging something. I had rotation and was using my legs but my speed was way down. No matter how hard I paddled I just could not maintain any speed. Weird. The river was up and full of branches and weedy. Stopped several times so my average speed was low.

try changing your work outs. do some intervul work here is one i just started, i have a 12 mile race next sat so for me to pick up speed with out bring my strok rate to hi. it is called 666 from hell. start by paddleing as hard as you can for 6 min then rest for 6 min do that 6 times try that for 3 days and then rest day then do your long day see how you times are then
666 from Hell. I like it. Your right I should probably try some intervals.
